Ping Tour Wedge

The exciting NEW Ping Tour Wedge featuring Gorge Grooves is made from 17-4 Stainless Steel and offers a traditional shape at address to inspire confidence throughout your wedge play. Including a CTP (Custom Tuning Port) in the back cavity of the Tour Wedge perimeter weighting is expanded to create huge MOI and offer a solid feel across the clubface.

The Tour Wedge’s Gorge Grooves are milled to hold very tight tolerances for ensuring maximum spin with the groove dimensions – width, depth, spacing, radius and wall angles all precision milled at Ping by Ping machinists to maximise spin for control and consistency.

The Tour Wedges offer multiple sole options to fit your game and to suit the conditions you play in. With the three available options being TS (Thin Sole), WS (Wide Sole) and SS (Standard Sole) you have a Tour Wedge available to suit your particular approach angle into the ball.

Choose TS (Thin Sole) if your angle of approach and divots are generally shallow and/or conditions are firm. The TS will allow the leading edge of the wedge to get under the ball easily and impart spin.

Choose WS (Wide Sole) if you tend to take deep divots, wide sole has the most bounce of the three soles available and will improve your interaction with the turf at impact and reduce digging in.

Choose SS (Standard Sole) as a versatile option to suit most swing types. This sole will play well from all playing conditions with either a shallow or steeper angle of attack.

The Ping Tour Wedge comes as standard with the popular Ping ID8 Rubber Grip for superb performance and grip and is also fitted as standard with the Ping CFS steel shaft which has been engineered more efficiently to allow the shaft to deliver a smooth, even flow of energy from the clubhead to the golfers hands for optimal feel and stability.
